Teeter Totter

When my 90 day plan to achieve absolute freedom was in its infancy, my butt was planted firmly on the ground, my eyes upturned...squinting from the glare of what might be. Over the last 76 days the balance has shifted and I find myself suspended high in the air...feet dangling; toes stretching to grasp long summer grass. My diametric playmate has called in reinforcements and they're stacked on top of each other like saltines. So I'm up here...feet dangling...trying to catch my breath....trying to remember that I enjoyed this game as a child...that it made me giggle and squeal with delight. The view from up here is not bad, if I can pry my eyelids open wide enough to take in the horizon.

Patience, Patience, Patience

So much hangs in the balance...
balance is important to Libras
I get off balance, I start bumping into things
Crashing headlong into thoughts, emotions, temptations
I normally wouldn't entertain.

Patience...of Greek origin which literally means "to suffer"

Breathing would be good idea about now
Lots of deep breathing and
maybe
some chocolate

Sacred Path

More words come to me about fear...here are a few I found on the wall in a chapel in Tennessee:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us
We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?"
Actually, who are you NOT to be?

You are a child of God
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking
so that other people won't feel unsure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us
It is not just in some of us...it is in everyone.

As we let our Light shine
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
